PIP, Auto Insurance- Personal injury- No fault insurance in Florida
Understanding how PIP, auto insurance and personal injury insurance works in Florida.
As we mentioned, if you have had an auto accident in Orlando or anywhere else in Central Florida, you only have 14 days to see a doctor under your own PIP insurance, auto insurance. If you do not see a doctor within the 14 days, then you will not be eligible for the PIP insurance coverage at all, which is usually a minimum of $10,0000.00. Also, we find that most doctors such as family physicians, or general practitioners do not even accept auto insurance, therefore our patients often tell us they have a very hard time finding a doctor to take their auto insurance at all. The Injury Docs accept all auto insurance, PIP insurance all the time. The Injury Docs will handle all the billing to your auto insurance
carrier for you as a courtesy. The Injury Docs also accept most Health Insurance plans, therefore our doctors can also bill your health insurance as a secondary if you have one. The Injury Docs accept most health insurance plans such as PPO, HMO and Medicare. Our patient care coordinators and scheduling team are available right now to take your call and scheule your immediate appointment with a doctor near you. Central scheduling available 24-7

Personal injury protection (PIP) insurance covers you regardless of whether you cause an accident
(are "at-fault") or are not at fault, up to the limits of the policy. It covers you whether you are in someone else car or your own car. PIP insurance is designed to reduce the necessity of suing for reimbursement of medical and related bills from auto accidents. As a courtesy the doctors within the Injury Docs network will bill your auto accident insurance directly for you, regardless if the auto accident was your fault or the fault of another.
